The man was a legend, icon, and to most of us an untouchable performer and entertainer. From the time he first started dancing, as a charismatic child to the time he floated across the stage for the first time at Motown 25 no one has been able to match his unique style or creative genius.  Word will never express the magnitude of influence and impact that he has had on people across the world and so perhaps the best tribute is in cherishing what the man loved most, his music.  I think the people in San Francisco had the right idea when they spontaneously put together a flash mob of self proclaimed “Number one Fan” to celebrate his life and dance the night away to his legendary music.

The world is still reeling from the news of Michael Jackson’s death, but San Francisco fans commemorated the Gloved One’s passing in a way that would make him proud: They gathered for an impromptu dance party.
The San Francisco Michael Jackson flash mob took place at the Ferry Building and lasted well into the night, according to attendees. That it happened at all is proof of how Michael Jackson was able to connect with his fans and inspire them in incredible ways.    - Trendhunter
We my have never fully understood his genius and even now we stand in awe of a man who was a global icon and yet at the same time a complete enigma, but his life stands as a testament that non of us know the day nor the hour that might be our last. I pray that we all live life abundantly in truth!
